What is Kestry, in one sentence?+–
A shared inbox and help desk for people running more than one thing, with project management attached - so the reply and the work that follows it live in the same place.
How finished is it?+–
Kestry is live and runs my own support across my brands, every day. Shared inbox, live chat, help centres, client portals, AI draft replies, workflows and reporting are all in there. It is a real, working product, not a demo, and it is still growing.
Do I pay per person?+–
No, and that is deliberate. Every plan has unlimited agent seats. You pay for what you run - brands, inboxes and how much you send - so bringing somebody in to help never costs you more.
What happens if I go over the email allowance?+–
Your replies keep sending. Nothing is blocked, ever - stopping a support reply halfway through a conversation with your customer is not something Kestry will do to you. You are warned as you approach the limit, and anything past it is 1p a send, kept separate from your AI credit so topping up for one never drains the other.
Can I use my own email domain?+–
Yes, and most people should. You add a few DNS records so replies go out from your own address with your own authentication. Until that is verified Kestry sends from a shared address with your brand name on it, so nothing is broken while you wait for DNS.
What does the AI cost?+–
Bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI key and it is free of any Kestry charge. If you would rather not manage a key, use the managed option and it is metered per use from a credit balance, with every plan including some to start with.
Can I try it before paying?+–
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel any time. If you stop paying, Kestry goes read-only rather than locking you out: every conversation, project and article stays readable, and you can still export it.
Can I move up or down a plan later?+–
Any time, from Settings. Plans are priced on brands, inboxes and sending, so the question is usually just how much you are running this month.
